Jon Rew:

Jon has worked in the Sports Education, Tourism and Marketing industries for over 15 years. A sports fanatic Jon spends his free time either playing, coaching, officiating or watching sports. Jon is an experienced sports tourist having organised both adult and junior sports tours in his teaching and sports club capacities. During this period Jon has also been a “Course Coordinator” on youth soccer courses ensuring the safety and smooth running of soccer competitions for upwards of 200 children per week in both the UK and overseas. He prides himself on organising fun sporting activities which develop sportsmanship and fair play.

As an active participant in sporting life on Grand Cayman he has a vast knowledge of the local team ability levels and will ensure that touring teams will play in competitive fixtures. He looks forward to enjoying your company in the Cayman Islands and sharing the Caymans proud sporting culture, natural beauty and array of awesome activities with you. He promises a true life long sporting memory for sports tourists and supporters alike.


Mark Eastwood:

Mark currently resides in Worcester England where he has been since attending University College Worcester and playing rugby for Worcester RFC. Mark is a semi professional rugby player playing in National Division Two for Stourbridge RFC; however he is a fan of all sports and also a very keen fly fisherman.

Mark has recently worked within a school sporting environment whilst coaching multi sports in a county council setting. Mark is also involved with the Umbro International Football Festival one of the largest youth football tournaments in Europe, here he carries the role of site manager and it is a position he has worked with for the last four years.

Mark has had many tour experiences both as an organiser for various rugby sevens trips and also as a tourist he believes that some of the greatest times are to be had on group tours and is a big supporter of the tour ethos!


Richard Adams:

Richard has played and Coached rugby for over 30 years, having played for Harlequins RFC, Richard soon moved into coaching in 1986 becoming Technical Director of the Strathcona Druids RFC in 1990, where he was voted the Alberta coach of the year five times in a ten year period. He coached all levels of Rugby in Alberta including several provincial teams. The introduction of semi professional rugby in Canada also gave Richard the opportunity to coach the Rugby Canada Super League team “The Edmonton Gold”.

Richard has a wealth of coaching experience at the national level, he has worked extensively with the Canadian National U20’s, U19’s ,U18’s and U17’s teams and has toured France, Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales in a coaching capacity with the National  teams. He has coached at three U19 World Cups and one World Cup. Most recently he was hired to act as a Set Piece consultant to the Barbados Men’s team in the 2006 World Cup qualifiers.

Richard is presently the director of Rugby in the Cayman Islands. He has called upon his extensive knowledge of sports tourism and tournament hosting to win bids for several IRB tournaments to be hosted in the Cayman Islands over the past seven years including World Cup sevens and fifteens qualification tournaments. In 2007 Cayman RU will host three IRB tournaments for U19, Women and Men’s championships. Richard is an integral organizer of the ever popular Cayman International Sevens bringing teams from as far away as Fiji to compete for the $50,000 prize pool.

Richard has successfully organized and hosted training camps for  Canada U21’s and U23’s National teams in preparation for tour or world cup competition as well as over one hundred club, school and university sides simply looking for some touring matches.

Working closely with the Department of tourism Richard is confident that the Cayman experience has always been and will remain a singularly spectacular tour destination for club’s schools and National teams.


David Robins:

David Robins has been in the travel industry for some 40 years and has organised sports tours on a world wide basis both for UK based groups and for groups travelling from overseas to the UK ,Ireland and Europe.

David's own sport is rugby football with his playing days at Worcester R.F.C. at which he was Captain for a consecutive four seasons before 'crossing the floor' to become a very competent referee ! Further rugby achievements included President of Worcestershire and Herefordshire R.F.U.,President of North Midlands R.F.U. and Chairman of Midlands Leagues a position that warranted a place on the R.F.U. Competitions Committee.

David's current involvement with the sport is Director of Rugby at Malvern R.F.C.

As a result of his very strong rugby connections and consistently providing well organised tours he has built up a good reputation with Rugby Clubs, Schools, Universities and the Combined Services throughout the Home Nations.

Other sports in David's portfolio include cricket.field hockey ,lawn bowls and soccer.

David Robins is also a Fellow of the Institute of Travel and Tourism.
